Sleep Coaching Rooted in Connection
At Mother Poppins, we honor the natural rhythms of babies and the instincts of their parents.
Our sleep support is gentle, evidence-informed, and attachment-centered, never based on “cry it out” methods that can disrupt the developing nervous system or harm the breastfeeding relationship.
We believe sleep is not a problem to fix, but a developmental process to understand. Our coaching meets you and your baby where you are—emotionally, biologically, and developmentally.
A Different Kind of Sleep Support
We support families using a nervous system-aware, breastfeeding-friendly, and developmentally normal approach to infant sleep.
Biological sleep norms – Babies waking at night is not only normal, it’s protective and expected.
Feeding support – Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding overnight is often appropriate and necessary. We help optimize feeding without pressure to night-wean prematurely.
Custom plans – No one-size-fits-all schedules or rigid rules. Each family receives an individualized plan that considers your baby’s temperament, your parenting style, feeding goals, and your sleep needs.
Respect for attachment – We prioritize emotional connection, co-regulation, and responsive care at every step.
Tools for tired parents – We offer realistic strategies to maximize rest while maintaining connection and flexibility.

We don’t rely on a single approach. We use our years of baby care experience to evaluate your child’s needs, taking into account your parenting style and goals to find the best way to support you. Together, we’ll navigate this journey, and you can feel confident knowing you’ve chosen a skilled, qualified resource to help your family achieve better sleep in a way that feels right for you.

There are various interpretations of “cry it out,” often described as putting a baby to sleep and leaving them in their sleep space until morning. However, this approach is not recommended. Supporting a child through this transition is important, as is considering the parents' comfort level.
Sleep goals and strategies differ for each family, and the consultant is committed to helping little ones learn healthy sleep habits through tailored methods. It's essential to remember that when implementing any change, a baby may cry as they adjust and learn. Parents can feel reassured that they will receive guidance and support throughout the process, and together, they can choose a method that feels right for their family as they work towards achieving better sleep.

There’s no minimum age!
I work with families from the newborn stage through toddlerhood. Sleep is a developmental process that changes over time, and support can look different depending on your baby’s age and needs. For newborns (0–4 months), we focus on setting up a calming rhythm, understanding biological sleep patterns, and supporting feeding and bonding.
From 4–18 months, we gently address challenges like frequent waking, short naps, or bedtime resistance—without using cry-it-out.
For toddlers (18+ months), we explore transitions, boundaries, and emotional regulation in age-appropriate ways.
No matter your baby’s age, we’ll create a plan that aligns with your values, protects your feeding relationship, and supports your whole family’s well-being.

Not quite—and that’s okay.
Newborns (0–3 months) aren’t developmentally ready for sleep training. Their sleep cycles are still maturing, and their need for frequent feeding, comfort, and closeness is biologically normal and protective.
But that doesn’t mean you’re stuck or powerless.
What we can do is support:
Soothing sleep environments
Feeding rhythms that protect supply and support rest
Nervous system regulation for both baby and parent
Gentle ways to encourage more consistent sleep—without ignoring your baby’s needs
I work with newborn families to build sustainable habits and realistic expectations—no cry-it-out, no rigid schedules, and no pressure. Just grounded, nurturing support that grows with your baby.
