What Insurance-Covered Care at Mother Poppins Looks Like

This is not a quick latch check and a pamphlet. Even within your insurance visit, Hali brings her full clinical expertise to every appointment because feeding challenges are rarely just about the latch.

Milk supply, weight gain, sleep patterns, hormonal shifts, nervous system regulation these systems are all connected. When one is struggling, the others follow. Hali sees the whole picture, even in a single visit.

Structured. Evidence-informed. Whole-system. Covered by your insurance.

Good to Know

Insurance-covered visits are available in office at our Coral Gables location and virtually worldwide. They do not include extended support, priority scheduling, 24/7 chat access, or in-home visits that come with our concierge packages.

If you find yourself wanting more time, more access, more ongoing support our membership is an option or our concierge packages are designed exactly for that.

But if insurance is what works for your family right now, we're here, and we're glad your coverage brought you to us.

A Whole-System Approach to Feeding

Most lactation consultants look at the latch. Hali looks at everything connected to it.

As an IBCLC with advanced training in functional and integrative health, every consultation goes beyond feeding mechanics to assess what's actually driving the struggle.

✦ Maternal depletion & nutrient balance

✦ Hormonal shifts & recovery

✦ Baby’s Oral Function

✦ Inflammation & gut health

✦ Nervous system regulation

✦ Feeding & sleep interplay

Feeding is foundational. Recovery is comprehensive.

PLease note Insurance verification can take 24-72 hours.

What to Expect:

  • Feeding doesn't exist in isolation. Your nervous system, hormones, recovery, and sleep all influence your milk supply and your baby's ability to feed well. Hali looks at all of it.

    Every consultation includes:

✦ Full feeding & latch assessment

    ✦ Weighted feed

    ✦ Personalized care plan

✦ Practical adjustments during the visit

Comprehensive, not reactive. Individualized, not generic.

  • Mother Poppins partners with third-party billers to process insurance-covered lactation visits for qualifying families. Most plans cover office and telehealth visits in full or with standard cost-sharing.

    A few things to know:

✦ Insurance covers the clinical visit only

✦ Some plans include a copay or deductible

✦ Verification confirms network status but not exact out-of-pocket costs — we recommend confirming your specific benefits directly with your provider

You will always be notified before any charge. No cards are automatically billed. Ever.

  • You may benefit from consultation if you are experiencing:

    • Persistent nipple pain
    • Low milk supply
    • Baby struggling to latch
    • Slow weight gain
    • Frequent feeding with little satisfaction
    • Anxiety around feeding
    • Returning to work and pumping concerns

    Early support prevents escalation.

    Structured guidance builds confidence.

  • Followups are always offered.
