Everything You're Wondering Answered.
No judgment. No jargon. Just honest answers.
How to Get Started
Step 1: Reach Out
It depends on what kind of support you're looking for — and we'll help you figure that out.
Insurance-covered visits — reach out to our Director of Client Care, Heather, who will guide you through the insurance verification process, answer your questions, and get you booked. Simple, straightforward, no surprises.
Concierge care — Hali offers a complimentary 15-minute discovery call to learn more about your family's needs, goals, and desires before recommending the right package.
Concierge is for the family who wants all of it. The in-home visits. The priority scheduling. The 24/7 access. The full integrated support across feeding, sleep, nutrition, and recovery with Hali fully in your corner from the start.

Step 2: Personalized Consultation
Your first visit is 60-90 minutes and entirely focused on you and your baby.
Hali will assess your latch, feeding mechanics, and milk supply. But she'll also look beyond the latch at your hormones, recovery, nervous system, and sleep. Because feeding doesn't exist in isolation.
You'll leave with a personalized care plan. Not a pamphlet.
Step 3: Custom Plan of Care
Every family is unique, and so is our approach. After your visit, you’ll receive a personalized plan whether for feeding, sleep, or postpartum recovery that blends functional nutrition, somatic tools, and practical strategies you can begin right away.
Step 4: Continued Support
Healing and confidence build over time. We offer follow-up visits, virtual check-ins, and extended coaching packages to ensure you feel supported every step of the way from those first weeks through every new stage of motherhood.
Let’s Begin
Whether you’re a first-time parent or expanding your family, we’re here to help you feel nourished, rested, and supported body, mind, and heart.
-
During a consultation, a lactation consultant will assess your breastfeeding technique, your baby’s latch, and any challenges you may be facing. They will provide hands-on guidance, offer personalized recommendations, and work with you to develop a plan that meets your breastfeeding goals.
-
Lactation support is designed to help you navigate the challenges of breastfeeding. Whether you're struggling with latching, milk supply, or simply need advice, a lactation consultant can provide the guidance and support you need to ensure a successful breastfeeding journey.
-
An IBCLC, or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, holds the highest credential in lactation care. While anyone can call themselves a “lactation consultant,” it’s essential to check for IBCLC certification when seeking support to ensure expert care. IBCLCs undergo rigorous training over 2-5+ years, including 90 hours of lactation-specific education, health science courses, and 300-1,000 hours of hands-on clinical experience. They must also maintain and renew their credentials regularly through the IBLCE. IBCLCs play an invaluable role on the healthcare team for breastfeeding families, offering a personalized, expert approach to help you reach your feeding goals.
-
Yes. Hali has completed extensive continuing education on tongue ties and the support needed before and after a frenectomy. She works closely with pediatricians, occupational therapists, and dentists to ensure your baby gets comprehensive, coordinated care.
One important note — tongue ties are rarely as simple as a quick procedure. If you're concerned, start with a consultation. Hali will help you make informed decisions so you're not jumping to interventions before they're truly needed.
-
Insurance covers your clinical lactation visit — prenatal, newborn, through weaning, and everything in between.
If you're pregnant and want to prepare before baby arrives, that's covered. If you're six weeks postpartum and struggling, that's covered too.
What insurance doesn't cover is the support between visits the texts, the check-ins, the ongoing guidance that most moms find they really need.
If you want Hali in your corner between appointments, our Membership and Under the Umbrella Community was built exactly for that.
Most moms who start with insurance end up joining the membership. Because one visit is a great start but it's rarely the whole journey.
-

We also offer two private prenatal classes:
