These Lactation Bliss Balls check every box. They're packed with milk-supporting ingredients like brewer's yeast, oats, and hemp seeds, plus healthy fats and natural sweetness to keep your energy steady. Make a batch on Sunday and thank yourself all week long.

What you'll need

  • 10 dates, soaked & pitted

  • ½ cup peanut or nut butter

  • ⅓ cup sprouted oats

  • ½ cup raw almonds

  • ¼ cup hemp seeds

  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup

  • 3 tbsp vanilla protein powder

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1–2 tbsp brewer's yeast

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ½ cup dairy-free choc chips

Optional: 1–3 tbsp almond milk to loosen the dough


How to make them

  1. Add dates to a medium bowl and cover with hot water. Let them soften for about 15 minutes, then drain and pit.

  2. Add the soaked dates to a food processor along with nut butter, almonds, hemp seeds, honey (slightly warmed), protein powder, chia seeds, brewer's yeast, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  3. Blend until a dough-like consistency forms. If it seems too thick, add almond milk one tablespoon at a time.

  4. Transfer the dough to a large bowl. Add the oats and chocolate chips and stir until well combined.

  5. Roll into 1-inch bite-sized balls and place in an airtight container.

Hali's tip:Wet your hands slightly before rolling — the dough won't stick and your balls come out perfectly round. Great little task to do while baby naps!


Storage

Keep a stash in the freezer and move a few to the fridge each morning. They thaw quickly and taste just as good sometimes even better straight from frozen on a warm day!
